Profiles of courage and sacrifice
With Veterans Day fast approaching, UBS is pleased to present an evening with Colonel David W. Sutherland.
Colonel Sutherland is a highly decorated veteran with 29 years of active duty in the U.S. Army. He also happens to be a native of Sylvania, Ohio. During surge operations in Iraq, Colonel Sutherland and the thousands of troops under his command beat back Al Qaeda and other insurgents which turned
the tide in the war. At present, Colonel Sutherland is an advocate for military veterans, their families and families of the fallen. He is also President of the Sutherland Partnership. In this role he helps organizations like UBS succeed by creating ethical leaders and engaging cultures.
Colonel Sutherland will share profiles of courage and stories of sacrifice from the battlefield while inspiring all of us to tap in to the “capacity for greatness” that he believes lies within us all.
