The Red Cross is very active in Erie County in our different lines of service.  Here is a brief summary of our services this past fiscal year.

American Red Cross Training Services - Last year, we have trained 1,118 Erie County residents on life saving skills such as CPR and First Aid.

We installed 177 smoke alarms and made 83 households safer through our Home Fire Campaign.

We educated 196 children in our Youth Preparedness Program - The Pillowcase Project.  (Info on the training is attached.)

We collected 3,215 units of blood from individuals in Erie County who support our life saving blood program and help save lives in Erie County.

We responded to 86 Services to the Armed Forces emergency calls and critical community cases when our military members and their families are needing our assistance.

We have 53 American Red Cross volunteers living in Erie County who are supporting our mission every single day.  Without our volunteers, we would not be able to deliver our mission in our communities.
