SANDUSKY, OHIO, July 14 – 21, 2019: Join the Erie County Board of Developmental Disabilities in giving back to the community that generously supports them and the people they serve! A toiletry drive benefitting OHgo is taking place throughout the week. Toiletries (soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.) can be dropped off at the Erie County Board of DD’s main entrance at 4405 Galloway Road in Sandusky Monday – Friday from 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, or at Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center Tournament Central (main office) at 3115 Cleveland Road West in Sandusky daily from 8 AM – 5 PM. Sports Force Parks is partnering with the Erie County Board of DD to host a Charity Car Show on Thursday, May 18th from 5 – 8:30 PM. All proceeds benefit the Erie County Board of DD Week of Service. $5 cruise-in entry fee includes car show and Sports Force Parks access, food trucks, family fun and music. Free dash plaques for the first 200 cars, plus door prizes and 50/50 raffle! Entry to Sports Force Parks for the event is free and open to the public. In addition, during the Week of Service, Erie County Board of DD staff will be volunteering at OHgo’s home base and will also be out in the community at OHgo’s bookmobile, mobile food pantry, and kids’ pantry and play.
