For decades, musical scores have created the soundscape for romantic movies and musicals we all enjoy! This romantic program, full of unforgettable melodies of the stage and screen will include music from Romeo and Juliet, Gone with the Wind, Cinema Paradiso and many other silver screen favorites.
Our guest artist, Andrés Cárdenes will perform Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 2. Written for the great Spanish violinist, Pablo de Sarasate and performed in 1877, it is a powerful, expansive and deeply moving piece composed of three movements in the Romantic style of classical music.
