The 9th Annual Witches’ Walk Sandusky® is a fun charity event by Donna Bretz, Jarrod Walters, & Michelle Herold and has grown to several hundred witches, who roam downtown Sandusky in their finest witch attire, stopping at sponsor businesses for treats, refreshments and prizes.
Tickets for 21 and over only are $15 pre-sale and $20 at the event, with proceeds benefiting OHgo. In 2018, 518 witches attended the event.
Participating businesses include Daly’s, The Shore House Tavern, J Bistro, Crowbar, Barrel House Saloon, Crush Wine Bar, Landmark, Hotel Kilbourne, The New Moon & OHTaco. More locations will be added and will be on the map available at event check-in. Witches will check in at the Sandusky State Theatre beginning at 5 PM on Wed., Oct. 23rd to get maps, wristbands and other information, as well as take time to enjoy a specialty drink at the cash bar in the State Room, You will have an opportunity for photos in front of a special backdrop.
New this year will be Magician Mike Mage, readers at Kilbourne Hotel, a Scavenger Hunt and Haunting Organ Music at Grace Church by organist Randy Ruthsatz.
At 6:15 PM all the witches will gather in Washington Park and parade down Columbus Avenue to Shade-Mylander Plaza.
Costume and prize winners will be announced at the end of the evening at the Crowbar.
