Event Description:
Family fun is coming to Erie and Ottawa counties this September as Lake Erie Wing Watch Family weekend kicks-off! If you like birding, nature and like to be outdoors, then this is the event for you. All events are free, but some do require registration.
On Saturday, the event will land in Erie County at Osborn MetroPark from 1-6pm. There will be food trucks, retail vendors, nonprofit groups, crafts, activities, speakers and more! On Sunday you can choose from various field trips and be taken on guided tours at various locations.
Saturday at Osborn MetroPark includes a Keynote Speaker, Joe Dorrian, from the Ohio School of Falconry. He will talk about falcons and even bring one with him. Also, on Saturday you can learn about Citizen Science opportunities, get more comfortable with bats and see animals from Back to the Wild.
